Style Icon: Alexa Chung

There are so many more outfits I could have chosen for this Alexa Chung style post, but these kind of just stood out at me. Alexa Chung has been a style icon of mine for a while. When I was younger, everything she did I wanted to emulate. I discovered her on her show "It's On With Alexa Chung" and from then on I was in love. She was quirky, but in a way that still made her attractive.  Guys want to date her and girls wanna be her. She showed me it was okay to be yourself, no matter who you are and how you act.  She can wear anything and make it look good. I guess that's just one of the perks of being a model. She's beautiful on the outside and seems to be on the inside. She experiments with clothes, which I admire, but it still has an "Alexa aesthetic".

Want List: Leather Shorts

Okay so I've been wanting leather shorts for a while now. I would love to find a pair before spring starts to kick in. I think they just give a person that effortless edge without going to far. I do agree that you do need to now how to wear them. Leather shorts have to be worn with something simple to not overdue a look. I need to find a pair of shorts that aren't $635 like these bad boys from Thakoon.  Enough about me, what's on you're want list for spring?

Style Icon: Mary-Kate Olsen

I know you didn't think I was going to mention Ashley and not Mary-Kate. They have influence me from way early on in my life. I love the way Mary-Kate puts outfits together. She looks so good all the time and looks like she put no effort what-so-ever. She will always one of the celebs I look to for style inspiration.

Today Was A Good Day: Band of Outsiders

Today I worked at the Band of Outsiders show. I dressed these two models. It was my first Mercedes Benz fashion show. It was so exciting. I know that this industry is the only industry I wanna work in because I love it and appreciate the hard work that goes into this art that most people look at as "just clothes"

Unknown to me until a couple of weeks ago Marni has a big name in the industry. I heard of Marni through my internship and a few other designers I have never heard of. Marni stood out to me with the interesting prints and quirky designs. I will definitely add Marni to my list of favorite designers.

Style Icon: Whitney Eve Port

Besides being one of my favorite reality tv stars, Whitney's fashion style has really inspired me. I love how she's not afraid to use colors and mix prints.

I definitely want to thank my roommate for introducing me to this designer. I can't get enough of Margiela. He never seizes to amaze me and this collection was no different. Very avant garde. Can someone please get me a pair of those boots?

Style Icon: Ashey Olsen

Every week or so I'm gonna mention someone who's style has inspired me.
#1 Beside being one of my favorite pair of twins, Ashley Olsen definitely knows how to put clothes together and effortlessly.

Very Versace.

Versace just showed their SS13 Couture Collection. It was glamourous and signature Versace.
